About ME!

My name is Natalie. I was born in Costa Rica. I have lived in El Salvador and Honduras, all Latin American countries with very similar cultures. The thing that makes me kind of annoyed though, is when people that I meet in the US always ask (or at least used to ask) me if I live in the jungle. Well, actually its pretty funny. But anyway… So now I live in Costa Rica again and its probably the best experience that I have had in my life so far. The people here are amazing; probably the best friends I have ever had. So I’m hoping that I’ll stay here for the rest of my school years. If you’ve already read my posts, you’ll probably have realized that I love music. I’ve been dancing practically my whole life (ballet and jazz) and I will keep dancing until my bones are too weak. I have had accidents, and I know many people who have had incidents, but this won’t ever stop me from doing something I love. If I have to dance in a wheel chair, I’ll do it!! I don’t play any instruments, unless you consider your voice to be one. When I moved back to Costa Rica, I had never realized that I had a voice that people actually liked to listen to. I don’t even remember how I started to become so passionate about singing. It probably became the strongest after participating in a talent show and singing “Pieces of Me” by Ashlee Simpson. Before doing it, my friends told me to do it because they thought I had a really good voice. After the talent show, people from higher grades were giving me compliments on my voice and I had a lot more confidence. Soon enough, I started singing in more shows, and of course there were times where I messed up, but that only made me want to do better. I’ve never had singing lessons in my life, so I’m going to make the best of this “gift.”  

 I live with my mom and dad, two brothers, and my big black dog, Buddy. Other than singing and dancing, I like hanging out with my friends, going to the mall, parties, shopping, and baking. And I love taking pictures. Its fun! So I hope you’ll read and enjoy my blog, and I bet I’ll talk about things other than my passion. So enjoy!
